Position and Abilitys

Note, not all requests will be granted. In fact, most will not.
Many positions can only be held by one cat and we can't have every cat in the tribe possessing mystical powers.
That being said, if you RP enough and have logical reasons why it should happen then by all means, apply.


Positions
In each Jellicle tribe there are certain positions, the one's important now are:

Positions always held
Leader - The leader of the tribe. He has a special connection with the Everlasting Cat
Next in Line - The next in line to be leader is the child of the Leader, unless the leader has no offspring or is killed before he is able to. It is usually always a male but a female is not unheard of.
Protector - The head of security for the tribe, he is there whenever something bad is going down. The Leader chooses who is should be.
Second in Command - The assistant to the Protector, he is usually chosen by the Protector.
Gumby and Lillie Cats - When there is a job to be done call on these cats. Gumby cats tend to work at night keeping order and Lillie cats work during the day being useful. During tribe gatherings they take kitten-watching duty.

Positions only held if possible
Conjuror - If one exists in the tribe then they are called upon for many things, protection, assistance in battle, etc. However only if the cat is mid-adolescent.
Delphic Orical - This cat is a seer, one that can sense things and tell a bit of what is going to happen.



Abilities

Connection to the Heavyside - Every leader and next in line has this ability by default. However, sometimes a random cat in the tribe will have this ability. Cats in the musical with it: Old D., Munkustrap, Jemima
Language Interpretation - This is the most common ability and most Jellicles can learn it with time. It is the ability to read human writing. This explains why even non-owned cats can have names from literature.
Mystical Sense - This is the ability to sense important things at a much higher level than a normal cat. Things such as something/one approaching, danger, etc. The highest level of this is seeing the future in a way, but only the Oracle Cat can do this. Cats in the musical with this: The twins, Mistoffelees, Exotica.
Controlling the Mind - The ability to make others believe they are seeing something they are not. It can be very dangerous if used incorrectly. The high level of this is a conjuror, but that is very rare. Cats in the musical with this: Mistoffelees, Macavity, Fireforfiddle, Exotica
