Wow, very nice! I love the pic of your Misto costume! And the Jemima tail looks really complicated.
I have a question or two, if you don't mind, as I'm working on an interchangeable Quaxo/Mistoffelees costume myself right now (albeit very, very slowly). Did you buy the arm/legwarmers and then modify/color them as need be? Or do you make your own? And where did you get the unitard? I've got one of the two tails and half of the wig made right now, but finding the right unitard and warmers (without breaking the bank) is a problem for me right now.

I admittedly wasn't convinced by the single pieces of Jemima's costume but the photo where you wear it it looked just wonderful! And Misto, too. They're such cute!

Pippin For these costumes I made the warmers out of old tube socks turned inside out and marked up with sharpies and fabric pens. The other random warmers were knitted by me...It's what I would recomend. There are some Cats fans who sell warmers for around $20-$50 But if you are on a budget then you can buy warmers in a store for a bit cheeper. Another idea is to cut the arms off and old sweater (you can get cheep ones in second hand stores). As for a unitard, I bought them in a dance supply store and painted it. Again, fans will paint you unitards, usually for around $100 Here's some helpful links: www.jelliclecostumes.com/theccdb.com/electricia Heh, thanks. It's been a while since I've made a Cats costume...If I were to do one now I'd change a lot of things.

The greatest problem I see in finishing my Electra-cosplay is that anyone (or anything^^°) must wear the unitard to paint it correctly and exactely and perfectly and ... Probably when I at anytime meet my group we will hopefully paint each other^^ The wig - uhm, yeah, that's another thing ...

@trai: Thanks. I think I'll check out the cheap warmers or old sweater route to start. I have some yarn and can knit basically, but it's been forever since I've actually done it, and I'm not confident I could actually knit warmers that would look any better than buying something and modifying it. I've seen some of the comission work that others have done, and it's pretty fantastic, but unfortunatley I have no money right now. I was eyeing a set of authentic looking warmers (arm and leg) for Quaxo that someone said I could have made for around $70, but I'm really strapped for cash right now. Any idea what sort of store actually sells arm and leg warmers? I haven't been able to find any around me. @tricia: I have a fun mental image of cats painting each other XD. What problems are you having with the wig? I am making my own wig now and might be able to help if you need it (though I am not an expert by any means).

Lol. Starting is the hardest part. Really I only have the front of my wig done. I've been afraid to continue 'cause I like the front, and I'm afraid of screwing it up XD. Oh well, I suppose I can always buy more nylons and yarn if I need it.

Starting is the hardiest part...but putting it down to get to work, and then trying to gain the will to pick it back up is even harder >< (I have a half finished Alonzo wig in the works...have had zero time for it lately...ergg)
