Application for: Macavity
History: Macavity was once a Jellicle. This should be obvious since the Jellicles still sing about him during the ball, a warning song of course. However his time with them did not last very long. In the same year of his birth his father was sent up the Heavyside by Old D. As a young kitten he did not understand and just wanted his father back. So he ran away. Luckily for him he found a clan of rats that became his home. Eventually he started recruiting cats, all who despised the Jellicles and their 'privileges'. Over time he became quite popular among strays and street cats, seducing young queens (Bomba and Demeter being two) Even some naughty Jellicles worked for him at one point. (Mungo and Teazer for example). However he was not just some Jellicle-hateing trouble maker. He wanted to destroy the Jellicles.
Personality: Macavity is essecinly the 'bad guy.' He is has been known as 'The Mystery Cat', 'The Hidden Paw', and 'The Napoleon of Crime.' His 'evil' spreads further than just the Jellicles, he's wanted for everything. Yet The Scotland Yard never seem to catch up to him and his crimes. He crashed the Jellicle Ball and kidnapped Old Deuteronomy and attempted to kidnap Demeter, however after a fight with Munkustrap he left wounded. (Not before shortcirketing the entire junkyard.)
Heartless would not be a good word for Macavity, for his heart is completely into his work. He would be considered harsh and cruel. Not a 'fun-loving criminal' but one fueled by hatred and revenge. His grudge singed deep in his bones. He's not the most intelligent and at times appears like winning school boy ("I hate them, I hate them, I hate them!"), but do not underestimate his strength and stubbornness. His true plans are not yet known to the Jellicles, and most do not realize he can do more then briefly kidnap a leader and seduce a few queens.
Appearance: To look upon him is to look upon an erupting volcano. Red, black, orange, yellow all tones and hues, sprouting from his flesh, like a fire cracker going off. He has never been under a human brush and lives in such filth it's a wonder females are so attracted to him. No, it's actually quite clear. The way he moves, with the grace of a dancer, the lightness of a bird, he hides his savage presence under an air of swave undenaying charm. And his strength, not bulky or stone-like. More stringy and lean, tall and with harsh corners. Deep thoughtful eyes. He looks like a devil.
RP sample:
Bits of mouse remained in his teeth from the mornings breakfast, quite unusual to stumble upon them in his tower. Macavity picked at them with his claws as the rats gave their morning report. He was not really paying any attention. Something had been bothering him and he was contemplating on acting on his speculations.
"Con."
"Yes sir?" the head rat answered.
"How many Jellicles have I fathered?"
Con looked confused for a second but ignored his masters change of subject.
"Two sir...that we know of."
"Right, and how many are male?"
"Um, none sir."
Macavity scowled, "Right. That's all, go away now." He shooed the rats away and continued to think.
If only one had been male. This fact angered Macavity but he sat unmoved all morning, looking out the window of his tower. He was developing the start of what would be a very good plan.
Code: "a true rolling stone that has gathered no moss"
