Are you sure the original will leave? Wouldn't it be kinda odd to show only the sequel and not to give the people chance to see the original?

Well, I'm not sure, but I assumed it would. I mean, it's been running for 20+ years now, and I figured if the new one was coming out, they'd take the old one off to make room for it and to not confuse people having two Phantoms running at once. I think they'd probably figure people have had plenty of time to see it by now during it's lengthy run. Also, I heard that, while it does pick up where Phantom left off, ALW sees it more as a stand alone piece, and not necessarily a true sequel, so they may not consider having to have seen the first to still enjoy it.

@peter: Yes, Phantom is an ALW production, lol. The man is simply amazing! But you knew that already. And that's kind of funny. I used to read this book series when I was younger called 'Goosebumps' by R.L. Stine. They were kind of horror/twilight zone stories for kids. One was actually called "The Phantom of the Auditorium" and revolved around a kid that was supposed to play the Phantom in the school's production but who disappears, and comes back to haunt the actors during rehearsal, lol.

Possible future vendettas aside, I have heard 'Till I Hear You Sing' and I already have the 'Love Never Dies' soundtrack on pre-order ^_^
I know for certain it wont be as good as Phantom (what could top that?), but I don't think ALW will let us down.

Many of you might know me from the CCDB, and several CCDBers probably wish they DIDN’T know me. ^__~ I’m an incredibly snarky writer who’s shooting to grab a MFA in Creative Writing, am currently unemployed save for costume commissions (yes, I’m available, open, selling all of my belongings practically, and uh yeah go me). I’m an accomplished equestrian and am considering turning in my amateur card to go pro. I LOVE CAPSLOCK AND CAPSSPEAK!!!11 I don’t think it’s rude, but then again I’m kinda a snarky person. I crush on people very frequently and am sporting three MAJOR crushes right now and am proud to say that I am a lovefool; oddly enough, I’m also always single. Commitment issues anyone? Hurr hurr hurr. I love ice cream which contradicts me generally being a health nut after I lost 48 lbs, Tumblebrutus is my Homeboy, Plato > Alonzo, I dig RPing big time, annnnnd um. Hey guys! I'm pretty excited that this board is still active. I've been missing RP-ing lately, so I'm glad to see that people are still around this board. :] I'm not really sure what all to say about myself, so I'm just going to fill out the list.

Favourite movies: Moulin Rouge, The Breakfast Club, Monsters Inc., Wall-E, Elf, Little Miss Sunshine, Big Fish... This list grows all the time, haha.
Favourite books: Perks of Being a Wallflower, feed, The Outsiders, and Wild Sheep Chase.
Favorite Music: Cake is my favorite band. I also really love Queen, but I listen to pretty much anything.

Oops! I never noticed this! *smacks self* I am OBSESSED with books and reading. If all I can find is a school textbook, I will read it. It's a basic need of mine. I am a major tomboy, which really freaks out all of my friends that are girls, because I wear absolutely no makeup. I am usually more comfortable around boys, but only because all of the girls where I live only talk about boys.

Favorite Musicals: Well, since I've only seen Phantom and CATS, that sort of narrows it down...
Favorite Books: Ummm... All of them? I read everyday. I need books like people need food.
