I thought it would be nice to know something about everybody here, and it's always fun to introduce yourself as a new member. So, I thought I'd start this topic where everybody can say a couple of words about themselves so we'll get to know each other a bit better!  Well, something about me now... I'm a Finnish girl and I go to high school. Things I like include musicals, movies and animation, especially Tim Burton's movies and Pixar's animation. I read a lot all the time, and I really like drawing fanart of the movies and musicals I like. I listen to music nearly all the time. And I hate homework! And because I happen to like lists... Favourite musical: Les Misérables Favourite movies: Big Fish, Titanic, Pirates of the Caribbean 1 Favourite books: So many, so many... Let's say Harry Potters, Randa Abdel-Fattah's Does My Head Look Big In This?, Elina Karjalainen's Perhe on paras and Anna Gavalda's Ensemble, c'est tout. Favourite comics: Don Rosa's Scrooge McDuck comics, Calvin and Hobbes, Zits, Asterix... Favourite city: London |

Ok, I'll play. I am 23, I graduated Loyola Marymount University in 2008 with a masters in Film Production and a minor Theater. I enjoy making films, web design, costume making, singing, writing, reading, music, art, and tons more creative things... My favorite film is: Labyrinth. My favorite authors are: J. R. R. What's crackin'? My name is Roach, I'm 21 years young and I live in the Pacific Northwestern United States. I'm a writer and an artist and a legitimate breeder of high-content Wolfdogs and rare-colored Pomchis (we call 'em Pollicles).
My fav. movies are Harold and Kumar go to White Castle, Grandma's Boy and Tank Girl. My fav. Musicals are My Fair Lady, Fiddler on the Roof, CATS (duh!), Lil Abner and Gypsy. My fav. CATS are Mistoffelees and The Rum Tum Tugger (though don't let that fool you...I'm not a fan of slash)
I don't really like to read, and if I do, it's Veterinary Handbooks and farming periodicles. I'm also very much into anime and manga. I suppose that's all....hope I enjoy it here^^

Uups, kinda missed it^^° Fine, I'm from Germany, 20 years old and studying tourism- and eventmanagement in Dresden at the moment. First semester!  I'm a huge fan of every kind of music; no matter whether Mozart, Nightwish, Britney Spears, No Angels, Billy Talent, Black Eyed Peas, ... and of course I do love musicals. My favs are Cats, the Dance of the Vampires, Beauty and the Beast, Aida, the three Muskedeers and the good, old My Fair lady. (no particular order) However I HATE Mamma Mia. It's rather awful to me ... Moreover I love singing, with or without karaoke, reading, dancing, writing, theatre, kinda struggling with my Cats cosplay, doing music videos - aaaaaaand Electra! Particular Electra! She my absolute favourite character of Cats what probably sounds a bit strange. Berlin was the first show (and unfortunately only one I saw live so far  ) where she appeared at first in Germany. Maybe I did indentify with her a bit ... my teens weren't the easiest ones  Favourite film ... really can't say. I love Pirates of the Caribbean, Ice Age, LotR, HP 1-6, diverse German parodies about famous american and English movies^^ Me doing Make Up. Guess three times who it is! ;D  |

So howdy all. Pleasure to meet you. Let's see, I'm Pippin, and I have a bachelor's degree in marine biology and a master's in biology/biotech. My dream is to study marine invertebrates (particularly crustaceans and cephalopods) at either the Woodshole Oceanographic Institute or the Marine Biological Lab down Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I was born and raised in New England, in the USA. I love small town, country living, I have a horrible Mass accent (or so I'm told), and fall is my favorite season (Halloween anyone?). Other than my biology interests, I like musical theater or theater of any kind, singing, dancing, creative writing, movies and movie production, science fiction, and horror.

Favourite movies: The Original Star Wars Trilogy, The Goonies, The Burbs, Jurassic Park, Jaws, Galaxy Quest, Batman (1989), The Scream Trilogy, An American Tale, Oliver & Company...and many many more...
Favourite books: The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster and The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien
Favourite comics: DC, particularly Batman, and Calvin and Hobbes (though I totally remember and love the McDuck comics!)
Favorite Music: oldies, classic rock, 80's American rock, showtunes (my fave bands are The Beatles, Queen, and Bon Jovi).
Cats (in order): Mistoffelees, Munkustrap, Pouncival, Etcetera, Mungojerrie

Oh - thanks!  Well, I really must figure out that I loved Nightwish when Tarja still was a part of it. Since she's gone ... let's say, the voice of the new singer doesn't make me getting excited about her voice. It's nice but not comparable to Tarja. But I love Tarja's solo album, it's made of awesomness! However I often listen to the songs of the good, old times; Sleeping Sun, Higher Than Hope, Over The Hills And Far Away, ... |

I dislike Anette as a singer. She's a lovely person, but her voice does absolutely nothing for me.
Ohh, me too, I'm really looking forward to What Lies Beneath. I heard that she's booked a recording studio for February, so it should be out next year sometime!
I spent around 85% of my life listening to Nightwish- Swanheart and Ghost Love Score are my favourites at the moment.

He has a video Microscope on it and a tv in his room ..
We are not allowed to have pets except Fish (fresh only) and that's it ..

Woah, I missed this? Well Im Nick, but you most likely know me by one of the following: SirSkimbleShanks, TheAngelOfMusic (obviously) or Czar N. Im a junior in highschool. Ill be 17 in two months ;D. I plan on going into musical theatre so most things I do revolve around stuff like that. But I also like ice hockey, airsoft, going on crazy adventures with my friends, videogames, etc... Typical teenage boy stuff . I can also speak *OK* french. And now for my lists... Favorite Musicals: The Phantom of the Opera (sorry, CATS comes second), CATS, Sweeney Todd, Jesus Christ Superstar, Little Shop of Horrors. Seriously, the list goes on... Favorite Movies: Any of the Star Wars movies, but moreso the older ones than the newer ones, Indiana Jones, The Lord of the Rings. Again, this list is obscenely long... Favorite Books: Le Fantome de l'Opera, The Masque of the Red Death, Harry Potter, Of Mice and Men. *Searches for a recent picture* Aha, here's one...  Im such a dork |

@peter: A pet amoeba?? That's possibly one of the coolest things I've ever heard, especially since your friend has a video microscope to watch it on a daily basis XD. @the Angel: Not that I couldn't guess, but yay for another Phantom Fan!! I've heard ALW is working on a sequel production at the moment. Have you heard the same? And we also seem to have the same taste in movies (and too many favorites to count). Star Wars (particularly the original) is my favorite as well, and I'm also a fan of both the Indiana Jones and Lord of the Rings franchises . |

Every PoTO fan out here: have you seen Till I Hear You Sing, the first song released from the PoTO II? I think the song's beautiful and Ramin Karimloo is just so awesome, but I'm still not too excited about the sequel. I don't think the plot is too great... |

I've only seen part of it (as my computer is uber slow at buffering video right now), but Ramin's voice sounds amazing, and perfectly suited for the role. I know he has been playing the Phantom for a while now, but I had never heard him sing before (I've seen Hugh Panaro and Howard McGillan live, and I'm used to hearing Michael Crawford on my soundtrack). The only reason I'm not too excited about the sequel is that it means the original will be leaving Broadway  . All I've heard of the plot is that the Phantom has now moved to America and is inhabiting Coney Island (not sure why....). Is there a place to get a better synopsis? |
