The spring air was warm and inviting as Exotica entered the Junkyard. She strolled over to TSE 1 and laid down on the trunk. She was out of her comfort zone but felt the need to be in the sun today. Her deep Jellicles senses were telling her that time could be running out for the Junkyard... Despite the fact she did not use her powers ever, she could not ignore the deep and horrible warnings she was feeling. It made her blood run cold. Only a few days ago Old Deuteronomy himself had traveled to the yard and had been taking up residence there ever since. He had felt something bad...he had no idea. Exotica knew that whatever it turned out to be would be far worse than Deut was fearing. She felt no need to warn anyone, whatever was going to happen was going to happen. So she enjoyed the morning, knowing peace like this would not last.

RumpelTeazer easy moved through the mounds of junk, having lived her most of her life it had become a second nature to her. It was almost lunch time and she wanted to get a head start on the hunting before the other cats started to poke their noses around. Pausing slightly she took in the dark shape of Exotica on the old car, blinking. It was rare to see the ebony queen around in the open

Exotica caught Rumpleteazer's sent as she climbed through the Junkyard, however she made not move to acknowledge her. She continued to enjoy the rare and brief sunlight in silence. It was not until she sensed that Teazer saw her there that she said anything. "There's a mouse behind that box on your left." She said plainly.

(So...I was thinking of starting Jerrie in here because of Teazer, but our Teazer has left, correct? Do you mind if I still have Jerrie come in? Should I just ignore the Teazer posts? Or say she wandered off?)

(here, I'll do this)
Startled at the queen's notice of her, Teazer ignored the mouse and scampered off into the junk quite disturbed by Exotica. She took no notice of her brother as she left the scene, probably because Exotica makes anyone feel odd and out of place.

Mungojerrie entered that part of the clearing just as Teazer scampered off, looking as though he had lost something. Well, he had, in a manner of speaking. He and Teazer had been having a contest to see who could catch the best dinner, and he had been following to make sure he was going to win. After all, all's fair in love and sibling rivalry. Wasn't that the saying?
It didn't matter now, anyway, as Teazer seemed to have gotten ahead of him somehow, and disappeared without him seeing where she went. He frowned slightly, pausing in front of the old car to gaze across the clearing for some sign of her. It was then that he became aware of another presence on the car behind him, and whirled around to see who it was. He didn't like the feeling of being watched. To his brief relief, it was Exotica.
He smiled lopsidedly, trying to forget his brief startle. "'ey Exotica, yew seen Teazah arond 'ere?"

Exotica did not look up or even move. She sighed lightly, amused that the late spring air seemed oddly pleasant. "She missed a very obvious mouse." Exotica was having trouble concentrating, which was odd, for she never had trouble with anything it seemed. However, she could not get to sleep, which she wanted very much to do. She almost wanted to craw behind her to Deut's lorry and wake him. He knew though, he knew of the desperate horror waiting for them. It would do no good. Who did not know, however, was Mungojerry. Exotica opened one eye. He was staring up at her with a lopsided grin on his face. "Ignorance is bliss, is'int it?"

The smile he had begun to sport at hearing that Teazer missed the mouse she had been looking for smiled at Exotica's second comment. His look turned instead to one of indignance and he crossed his arms. "Wha's tha' supposed t' mean?" he replied, feeling that he had just been insulted. Not that he normally paid real close attention to what was going on in the 'Yard (who did, anyway, besides Munkustrap? It wasn't like there was anything particularly exciting going on on a daily basis), but he wasn't stupid. What was she referring to?

Rain began to fall. If it had not, Exotica might have noticed the sent of a particular cat edging his way into the yard. She sensed something bad, however. Shivering she climbed down from the car and into the trunk, completely disregarding Mungojerry's question. She poked her head out and looked him directly in the eyes. "Well, aren't you coming?"

Jerrie shook his head. He could never quite wrap his head around Exotica. There was something....off....about her. Not bad, really, she was as good as any of them, but strange, distant. That, and he didn't like being ignored. But it seemed talking wasn't getting him very far at the moment. Glancing briefly around the 'Yard, he began to follow after Exotica. "Where exactly is it we're goin'?" he asked, raising a skeptical eyebrow.

Exotica rolled he eyes, she could not believe how absolutely thick Mungojerry was. "In the trunk..." She closed the lid, not waiting for Mungo, she then climbed into the hole that led to the cab of the car. Settling herself in the drivers seat on the right, Exotica had the body language of someone bored but her eyes were intense with fear and seriousness.

Mungojerrie shot something akin to a glare at Exotica's back as she climbed into the car without him. "Roight, loike oi can read yer mind," he grumbled to himself. He followed after anyway though. Teazer had scampered off somewhere, and chasing mice no longer suited his mood right now. Let her win one. Might be nice for her for a change, he thought to himself, smirking as he climbed up the back of the car. He wriggled his way through the cracked rear window and slipped into the back seat. Seeing she was in the front, he climbed up and draped himself over the back of the driver's side seat glancing down at her.
He regarded her for a moment, trying to puzzle together what was up. Despite her posture, he definitely got the impression that she knew more about something than she was telling, and he guessed it was something important. "So what's this thing oi'm so ignorant about?" he asked her finally, crossing his arms and resting his chin between his elbows on the seat back.

Exotica's slightly amused expression suddenly got very serous. She looked at Mungo with almost sad eyes as she told him what she felt. "Something bad is coming...it might already be here by now..." She shrunk deeper into the seat, no longer looking bored. "I fear this might be the end." She was not frightened, nor was she worried. Just sad and disappointed in a way. Like someone upset that the holidays were over.

"The end?" he said, lifting his head in confusion. "The end o' wot?" He didn't like her tone, but he couldn't see what she was possibly talking about. Something bad was coming...arlight, well, that could mean anything, if it meant anything at all. Lots of unpleasant stuff happened around the 'Yard, but more often that not it was a slight inconvenience and then life moved on. How could she know anyway? It always gave him the creeps when she or one of the twins, or heck, even Misto, got one of those feelings. It just didn't seem quite right to him.
